Media Sponsors

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our Sponsors of our 2007-2008 Snowcross Racing Season. Snowmobiling can be an expensive sport on its’ own, but when you add in the element of racing, it becomes quite costly. Without the generous support from our Sponsors, I wouldn’t be able to compete in the circuit as I do. Our valued Sponsors helped me have a very successful year. Last year was my 4th year racing, proudly wearing # 400, competing in Peterborough, Kirkland Lake, Bracebridge, Searchmont and Horseshoe Valley.  Having 2 years under my belt, I raced very well during this 4th Season and had fun at the same time. We tried some new racing parts that helped me finish in 6 th place overall out of more than 30 Racers in my Class, despite only racing at just more than half of the events. I was able to better my 13 th place finish and almost double my points from the previous year. I look forward to the upcoming 2008-2009 Racing Season, which will be my first year in the 7-9 year old, age class. It is a great sport for both individuals and their families.

I would like to give you a quick run down of the 2006-2007 Racing Season. For me, it began in Searchmont (near Sault Ste. Marie) on the weekend of December 9 & 10at the Stud Boy World Cup. I had my engine all tuned and ready to go. Saturday was a was a very exciting race as it came down to a photo finish, with the race being decided by less than an inch. I rode hard against the other competitors and finished in 2nd place each day, taking home a trophy bigger than me.

January 27 and 28, we headed to Peterborough’s Kawartha Cup with a freshly decaled sled and trailer by North Bay Signs. I raced to a second place finish on the Saturday and looked to do the same on the Sunday; however I flipped my sled in the last lap. Undeterred, I got back up, fought my way from last place to a 5 th place finish.
February 10 and 11 the races took place Bracebridge with the Snap-on Tools Muskoka Pro Snowcross. My gearing wasn’t quite right on Saturday, but I managed a third place. We went back to the drawing board for Sunday and moved up to second.
We were off to Kirkland Lake on March 3rd and 4th. It was a very cold weekend and the track was fast, but I wasn’t on the Saturday and ended up with a 5th.  My Dad and I decided that we better change gears and get up early the next day and practice. Well it paid off and I rode to a Second place finish on Sunday.

We headed into Horseshoe Valley for the final race weekend on March 31 and April 1.  I had a great day Saturday ending up in second however it ended up being very warm and wet on Sunday and things changed. I got the lead into turn 1, but slowed to watch a pile up of about 6 racers and was passed by another 8. I fought my way back into 5 to finish off the season finale.

Overall, we had a blast, learned a lot and I believe that we should be able to have a top 5 finish in my class for next year. I look forward to attending a minimum of 6 races again during the 2008-2009 Season. I also hope to have my sister racing with me this year.

Who is Wall To Wall Racing??

Wall To Wall Racing is really a variety of different things. We are a race team, marketing  and promotion company as well as an AMSOIL Dealer.  We also can help your race team put together a Sponsorship package for potential Sponsors that is unique to your team and your goals. We are family run and every member of our team is also a family member. We started out 3 years ago simply with our son wanting to race his snowmobile in the CSRA. Today, there is our son that races, his sister that will be racing next year, my wife that keeps everything organized and myself who is sort of a Jack of all trades including chief mechanic.
In racing there are professionals and amateurs with the distinction being the level of consistent performance. To achieve the performance levels is expensive and that is where our Sponsors come in. Our Sponsors choose us because we help them promote their company, products and services and by doing so have a positive return on their investment. Our Sponsors are well informed of the progress of our team through our newsletters and periodic updates and know what they get for their hard earned money.
If you want to have a successful race team, you must be a successful sales and business developer. An amateur just races on the weekend and a professional promotes their team Monday through Friday, then races on the weekend. It also doesn’t stop at the end of the race season, but continues throughout the year.
We hope that you enjoy our website.
